Circular Lifecycles

The linear "take-make-dispose" model is deeply flawed. The vanguard of luxury and style lies in circularity—where the end of a garment's life is simply the beginning of its next iteration.

Closing the Loop

Circularity means designing with the end in mind. This involves utilizing mono-materials (a single fiber type, like 100% organic cotton) which are infinitely easier to recycle chemically and mechanically than complex poly-blends. It also requires easily removable hardware, eliminating the roadblocks of textile recycling facilities.

Take-Back Programs

Leading sustainable fashion brands are taking responsibility for their products post-purchase. Robust take-back programs invite consumers to return worn-out garments. These items are then repaired, resold on proprietary vintage platforms, or responsibly recycled into new fibers.
